SSSTS Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme - CITB
This course is for first line managers - those who have to, or are about to, acquire supervisory responsibilities.
It provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities in safety managing a construction site.
Former MCG members are commited to improving the standard of site supervision. To this end companies will require all supervisors working on their sites to have recieved the appropriate training.
Abrasive Wheels
This course is for:-- All personnel required to operate Abrasive Wheels or Cutting off Discs.
- All personnel required to change Abrasive Wheels or Cutting off Discs.
Asbestos Awareness
At the end of this course delegates will have a clear understanding of the health and safety affects of asbestos, and the practical steps they can take to ensure they are either not exposed to it or how to minimise any exposure.
The training is for supervisors, operatives and anyone who is at risk of being exposed to asbestos during building alterations, refurbishment etc.

SSSTS - Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme Refresher - CITB
This refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the 2 day Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme course and can provide proof of attendance. It is intended for first line managers who have supervisory responsibilities and now wish to update their skills and knowledge in line with current legislation and maintain their current certificate.The course includes a wide range of topics many building on the previous two-day course programme as well as introducing new subjects. The certificate has to be renewed every 5 years by attending this SSSTS update course.
