To meet the legal requirements which came into place on April 6th 2011, all NRSWA Operatives MUST undertake and successfully complete a reassessment for all units that they already hold before they can re-register their card. Option 2 includes purely a practical reassessment with no examinations required.

To meet the legal requirements which came into place on April 6th 2011, all NRSWA Operatives MUST undertake and successfully complete a reassessment for all units that they already hold before they can re-register their card. i.e. if the card states units 1 -6 + 9 then all of these units MUST be reassessed.Course Content
- Unit 001 - Location & avoidance of underground services - refresher and reassessment
- Unit 002 - Signing, Lighting & Guarding - refresher and reassessment
- Unit 003 - Excavation in the highway - refresher and reassessment
- Unit 004 - Reinstatement & compaction of backfill materials - refresher and reassessment
- Unit 005 - Reinstatement of non-bituminous sub base & road base materials - refresher and reassessment
- Unit 006 - Laying practices & reinstatement of cold lay bituminous materials - refresher and reassessment
- Unit 009 - Reinstatement of modular surfaces & concrete footways - refresher and reassessment
Training Method
Each unit is covered by classroom input followed by a practical assessment on UTN's training roadway.- Day 1 - Refresher and practical reassessment units 001 & 002
- Day 2 - Refresher and practical reassessment units 003 & 004
- Day 3 - Refresher and practical reassessment units 005, 006 & 009
