NRSWA Streetworks

NRSWA Streetworks training is one of the most popular courses offered by UTN Training.
Operative Training or Supervisor Training are always in great demand at UTN Training.
NRSWA Operatives cover units 1 - 6 + 9

All delegates successfully passing the course will receive Certification and a Scotvec card.

 

To meet the legal requirements which came into place on April 6th 2011, all NRSWA Operatives MUST undertake and successfully complete a reassessment for all units that they already hold before they can re-register their card.

Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus

600 people are injured every year due to underground cables being damaged during excavation work on the highway. There are also many people injured through damaging water and gas pipes.

Everyone connected with excavation will benefit from this course, including: designers and planners, safety personnel, site management and all operational staff including machine operators.

NRSWA Refresher & Practical Reassessment Operatives Units Option 2

 To meet the legal requirements which came into place on April 6th 2011, all NRSWA Operatives MUST undertake and successfully complete a reassessment for all units that they already hold before they can re-register their card.  Option 2 includes purely a practical reassessment with no examinations required.

NRSWA Signing, Lighting and Guarding - Supervisors - Unit 010

This course is designed for all personnel employed by local authorities, utilities and their contractors for the purpose of any road works in the highway.

This course does not certificate the successful candidate to undertake the setting out of traffic lights, signs, cones and barriers only to moniter and supervise those who can.
